Five gcses at grade 4 or above including english language, or successful completion of a level 2 diploma at distinction grade. You will study over two years in a number of practical and theoretical areas that will prepare you for various roles in the media and communications industries. The structure of the course and the method of delivery is devised as a result of consultation between College staff and media professionals. The course provides a studio equipped with green screen technology and vision mixing capabilities. Alongside this, post-production facilities are available in the form of Adobe Creative Suite. Production facilities include BBC approved HD cameras and professional sound recording equipment.

Assessment is largely project-based, leading to a collaborative project at the end of each year which is graded Pass, Merit, or Distinction.

Some learners may wish to gain the qualification in order to enter a specialist area of employment or to progress to a Level 4 or 5 programme. UAL Extended Diplomas in Creative Media Production will provide access to a greater range of specialist units and therefore broaden and extend your experience.
