You will work through a continuous programme of assignments, class activities, practical tasks, discussions, presentations, written reports, voluntary work, organising events and coaching. Each assessment will be graded against the unit criteria and from there you will get an overall grade ranging from Pass, Merit and Distinction.
In the future you could pursue a career in PE teaching, sports coaching, sports development, sports management and the leisure industry, amongst others. You may progress onto Level 4 courses at HSDC or Apprenticeships. A large number of our students will move onto university to study degree programmes in PE teaching, sports coaching and development, sport and exercise science, health and fitness, sports psychology and sports studies.
