You will need a minimum grade 4 in either English (literature & Language), maths. As well as your minimum required grades you will also have to take part in a course interview so that you can meet the tutors and we can ensure this is the correct route for you.

During the course you will need to complete a number of practical exercises, whilst you are producing the components your tutor will observe you and assess your understanding and knowledge You will have a set of knowledge based questions for each unit that we cover. These will need to be completed during the year, this is so the tutor can assess your knowledge of each unit. You will also have a job report that needs to be completed after you finish each practical task

There are a few options you can consider after finishing your course: Gain an apprenticeship BTEC Level 3 This route is more beneficial for learners who are wanting to go to university as it is primarily theory based Sub Dip Level 3 This route is more beneficial for those who are more hands on however still carries a smaller number of UCAS points
