This ActiveIQ qualification is aimed at all level 2 or level 3 qualified instructors and trainers. You will already have knowledge and skills in fitness instruction. Some experience of studio cycling is an advantage. As the course requires physical exertion and individual participation (essential) a degree of physical fitness is necessary.

Indoor cycling is group exercise performed on stationary bikes. These units will teach you how to simulate hill-climbing sprints and races choreographed to music. You will develop your enthusiasm and motivational style as you work with different groups.

Learning is done via a range of assessment methods which include practical observations group and peer assessments interactive workshops and a variety of Q & A techniques. Lessons and learning take place in the gym sport hall and classroom.
