Building and Property Maintenance Diploma Level 2

Core trades include Bricklaying, Carpentry and Joinery, Painting and Decorating, Plastering, Plumbing and Roof Tiling.7 units to achieve - 2 mandatory theory units and 5 trade related units which are split between practical and theoretical assessments.Course attendance will be three days a week.Any student aged 16 to 19 who does not hold a GCSE A* to C (9 to 4 on the new grading structure) or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English by age 16 will need to continue to study these subjects in each academic year.

Successful completion of a Progression Level 1 trade qualification or a substantial history within the construction industry. English and Maths at grade D (3) or Functional Skills at Level 2.

After successful completion of this course and following an interview, outstanding candidates may progress onto a trade specific qualification (level 1) in the construction trade of your choosing or into Higher Education, or an Apprenticeship
